Printing the Schedule of Classes

GT has enhanced Banner output to provide new functionality to users running banner job submission (GJAPCTL). If you have been running your Schedule of Classes directly from Banner, you may now use DATABASE in the printer option to view, save or print locally from the Saved Output Review Form (GJIREVO). This means you no longer must have your Banner connection pre-programmed to send a print document to a designated printer.

To print your Schedule of Classes directly from Banner, follow the steps below:

Step 1:

  • Go to GJAPCTL
  • Enter "WSRDSOC" in the Process field
  • Page down to the Printer Control Block
  • Enter "DATABASE" in the Printer field
  • Proceed with the remainder of your parameters and save.

Step 2: Review the Output to the DATABASE printer option

  • Go to GJIREVO
  • The Process and Number fields that just ran are pre-populated.

  • Page down or Next block to display output files.
  • Double click on the pdf. A prompt will display asking if you would like to show the selected file in a browser.
  • Select Yes. (Be sure to turn off your Pop-up Blocker).

  • The output can be printed using the internet browser controls or saved as a file to a secure location.
