How To Set Up A Video Course

The most important thing about setting up a video course is the restriction. The campus code for video is "1". Entering "1" on SSASECT in the campus field is for reporting purposes only. It does not control registration. It is imperative that you also add the restriction in the campus field of the form SSARRES. By (I)ncluding "1", you are restricting registration to only those students that are coded as video. The section code on SSASECT should be "Q", and the session code should be "E". Please see the example below.

Summary:

  1. SSASECT - section code should be Q
  2. SSASECT - campus code 1
  3. SSASECT - session code E
  4. SSARRES - include campus of 1
