Linked Courses

Courses can be linked together so that a student is required to take both courses simultaneously. Most often, these "linked" courses are courses with a lecture and lab. The academic department teaching the course will set up specific labs linked to a specific lecture.

Linked courses must be registered on the same commit. If you register for one part of the link without the other part, the following error message will appear: LINKED ERROR: XX REQUIRED

EXAMPLE:

PHYS 2211 A (lecture section)
Is linked to
PHYS 2211 AL1, PHYS 2211 AL2, PHYS 2211 AL3, phys 2211 AL4, etc. (lab sections)

PHYS 2211 B (lecture section)
Is linked to
PHYS 2211 BL1, PHYS 2211 BL2, PHYS 2211 BL3, PHYS 2211 BL4, etc. (lab sections)

Using the example above, a student could registrar for PHYS 2211 A and PHYS 2211 AL3. The student could not register for PHYS 2211 A and PHYS 2211 BL2.
