Permit / Overload Information

Permits and overloads are issued by the departments teaching the course. Some departments are using the on-line permit/overload request system on OSCAR. To apply for a permit or overload on-line, see the directions below. If the department is not listed on the on-line system, they may be using the waitlist function. Click here for instructions for how to identify course sections that are using a waitlist. If the department or course is not listed, then contact them directly.

Students may request a permit/overload on-line from participating departments by following the directions below:

1. Log into Buzzport
2. On the Home tab locate the "REGISTRATION AND STUDENT SERVICES" channel
3. Select the "Registration - OSCAR" link
4. Select "Student Services & Financial Aid"
5. Select "Registration"
6. Select "Registration Override Request"

Students can view their permit / overload status by following the directions below:

1. Log into Buzzport
2. On the Home tab locate the "REGISTRATION AND STUDENT SERVICES" channel
3. Select the "Registration - OSCAR" link
4. Select "Student Services & Financial Aid"
5. Select "Registration"
6. Select "Registration Override Request Status"

Students may view their granted permit / overload information by following the directions below:
