What do I use as my PIN?

Your PIN number will initially be your 6 digit birth date (MMDDYY). See further instructions at www.registrar.gatech.edu/registration/pin.php

What is a "CRN" and why is it important? Why can't you just use the course number and section?

CRN stands for "Course Reference Number". It is a unique number assigned to each class section offered for a particular term. This number is used by Banner to identify a class.


What does "R" mean in the days listing on the Schedule of Classes?

The "R" means Thursday.


How do I print my schedule and fee assessment?

Log into your oscar account via Web Student Access System. Schedules and/or fee assessments can be printed by using the print option on your browser


Where is the transfer credit equivalency table?

Transfer Credit Policy can be found at www.registrar.gatech.edu/students/transfercredit.php.
The Transfer Equivalency Table can be found on the Web Student Access system.


Where is the degree candidate status option?

Degree Candidate status and deficiencies are located on the Web Student Access System. See Information at www.registrar.gatech.edu/students/degcandfaq.php.


When are time tickets assigned and when does registration start?

When will grades be available?

Grades should be available by noon on the Tuesday following exam week. Note: Grades will be under the "display grades" option of the Student Records Information Menu on the Web Student Access System.


Where is textbook information?

Textbook information is now available from the Registration Menu of the Web Student Access System.


I am getting an error message when I try to register for a class. How can I fix this?

How do I choose not to have my address included in 'lu' and the campus directory or flag my entire record as 'Confidential'?
