Enrollment Status (Full Time / Part Time Status)

The following is applicable to all terms (including summer), and to all students (both undergraduate and graduate).

Total Hours Registered for a Term Status
12 or more Full Time
6 - 11 Part time
1 - 5 Less-than-part-time


National Student Clearinghouse (Third Parties)

Georgia Tech has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for all verifications of student enrollment and awarded degrees. Third parties must use the Clearinghouse. Please visit the Clearinghouse online at www.studentclearinghouse.org or contact them by phone at 703-742-4200.


ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION INFORMATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FRIDAY FOLLOWING THE LAST DAY OF PHASE II REGISTRATION FOR THE TERM


National Student Clearinghouse (Students)

Enrollment verifications may be requested for a specific term, or for a total enrollment history. Georgia Tech has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as our agent for providing enrollment verifications for insurance purposes, student loans, future employment, military IDs, etc. This free service is available 24/7 to current students and alumni of Georgia Tech.


ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION INFORMATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FRIDAY FOLLOWING THE LAST DAY OF PHASE II REGISTRATION FOR THE TERM


  1. Go to https://oscar.gatech.edu
  2. Select "Secured Access Login"
  3. Select "Student Services & Financial Aid"
  4. Select "Student Records"
  5. Select "Verification Requests"
  6. Select "Access the Clearinghouse" Link in the "Enrollment Verification" section
  7. Log in to National Student Clearinghouse website
  8. Select from the following options:
    1. Print a certificate of enrollment to be forwarded to a third party
    2. View your enrollment information on file with the Clearinghouse
    3. View your loan deferment information that the Clearinghouse has provided to loan providers
    4. View information provided by the Clearinghouse to third parties on the student's behalf
    5. View detailed information about your loans
