Ordering Via the Web Ordering via Fax or Mail Certified Transcripts
 

The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) was designed to protect student rights with regard to educational records maintained by educational institutions. In accordance with FERPA, Georgia Tech does not release information regarding any student without the written consent of the student.

Ordering via the Web

TRANSCRIPTS WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE A FINANCIAL OBLIGATION TO THE INSTITUTE

Current, or recently enrolled Georgia Tech students may order transcripts via the Web Student Access System. Students may request a transcript to be mailed, or picked up (photo ID required for pick-up) in the Student Records Office, Room 104 of the Administration Building (Tech Tower). Web ordered transcripts being held for pick-up are usually ready after 2:00pm the next business day.

Instructions:
  • Go to https://oscar.gatech.edu
  • Select "Secured Access Login"
  • Select "Student Services and Financial Aid"
  • Select "Student Records"
  • Select "Request Printed/Official Transcript"
You should receive the message "Transaction is Successful" after submitting your request. If we experience any hardware problems, you will receive a "Request Failed" message and you need to try again later or fax a request as instructed below. If you continue to experience difficulty using the web, send an e-mail message to comments@registrar.gatech.edu. Web generated transcript requests are usually filled within 2 business days. There is no fee.

Ordering via Fax or Mail

TRANSCRIPTS WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE A FINANCIAL OBLIGATION TO THE INSTITUTE

Former students as well as current students may fax a completed, signed (computer generated signatures are not acceptable) request form to (404) 894-0167 or mail to:

There is no fee for transcripts. Written requests (faxed or mailed) are usually filled within 3 business days.

Certified Transcripts

TRANSCRIPTS WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE A FINANCIAL OBLIGATION TO THE INSTITUTE


Students who need a certified copy of their transcript for use outside of the United States will need to do the following:
  • Complete and sign (computer generated signatures are not acceptable) a request form, and submit it to the Office of the Registrar in room 104 of the Tech Tower (Administration Building), fax to 404-894-0167, or mail to:

  • Request that the copy of the transcript be notarized
  • Visit the Georgia Secretary of State's website to complete the process

There is no fee. Requests are processed within 3-5 business days.
